Service Warrior Application

The EPIC Service Warriors is a community service and leadership development program for youth with disabilities between the ages of 16-23. EPIC Service Warriors meet from May 2026 - May 2027 for one year to participate in community service projects and leadership development skill building training. By creating the change they want to see in the world, the Service Warriors learn more about local communities and develop practical skills that will help them develop as leaders and pursue future goals. We believe that every young person has a Warrior within!

EPIC is currently accepting Service Warrior applications in 2 different cities, Boston and Worcester. Depending on the city you apply to, you will be serving the entire year within that city and its surrounding communities. EPIC is accepting applications and will reach out to schedule interviews for individual applicants who complete the application entirely.

Are you ready to free your inner Service Warrior?

The EPIC Service Warriors Program runs from May 2026 to May 2027. During the year, Service Warriors will participate in a Service Warrior orientation, a minimum of 12 community service projects, 10 leadership development workshops and a featured raduation celebration, called Honoring Young Leaders.

The Service Warriors program has a one-time program fee of $250 for the program year. The one-time program fee will provide each Service Warrior with uniforms, meals on program days, the EPIC Service Warrior Handbook, and any reasonable accommodation costs. EPIC has full and partial scholarships available for all that need them. Please do not worry about the program fee or scholarships when applying. EPIC staff will ensure you have all the information you need throughout the application process.

After receiving your completed application EPIC staff will be in contact to set up an interview.

Recommendation Form

EPIC Service Warrior Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation written by an adult who can comment on your leadership skills and potential. A teacher, employer, or other community leader must complete this form. A family member or personal friend cannot complete this form.

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email confirmation. There will be a link to the Online Recommendation form in that email. Please send the Recommendation Form Link to 1 adult for them to complete. In order for your application to be considered complete this online form must be submitted.
