EPIC Service Leaders Application

EPIC Service Leaders are youth who have successfully completed the Service Warrior Program and return to serve as peer mentors to the new team of EPIC Service Warriors. The EPIC Service Warriors Program runs from Spring 2026 to Spring 2027. During the year, Service Warriors and Service Leaders will participate in the EPIC Service Warrior Opening Day/Orientation, a minimum of 12 community service projects and 10 Leadership Development Training Days in the Boston or Worcester area and a Graduation Celebration. Service Leaders will also take on additional leadership opportunities: 1. Service Leaders will participate in their own orientation. 2. Service Leaders will also support in teaching/training of the EPIC volunteer program. 3. During the Service Warrior year, some of the Service Leaders will attend monthly one-on-one meetings with the Youth Program Specialist of the City they are a part of, and monthly Service Leader team trainings.

The EPIC Service Warriors program costs $250 for the program year and this fee also applies to Service Leaders. This one time fee will provide each Service Warrior and Service Leader with uniforms, meals at each service day, the EPIC Service Leader Handbook. Financial support is offered to Service Leaders who qualify. Application Deadline: Friday, January 30, 2026.

Recommendation Form

EPIC Service Leader Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation written by an adult who can comment on your leadership skills and potential. A teacher, employer, or other community leader must complete this form. A family member, personal friend or EPIC staff cannot complete this form. After you press submit on the bottom of this page, you will receive a confirmation email confirming that we have received your application. A link to the Service Leader Recommendation Form will be attached to the email.
